Here is a list of the items we accept:

Boxboard

Cereal and cracker boxes (remove the plastic bag).

We take frozen or refrigerated food boxes (like pizza or single serve microwave boxes).

24 Hour Drop-off Hint:  Put the flat boxes together in a box and set the entire box in the green metal basket out front.

SORRY no ice cream containers.  This material is difficult to break down in water to start the recycling process.

Cardboard

Corrugated, like shipping boxes. Also, 24hr drop-off available weather permitting. Anyone can place flat, dry cardboard in the green baskets out front.

Snow and Rain alert:  Three out of four seasons we are able to dry the cardboard in the yard if they are wet from the weather, the winter months less so.  You may see the baskets available less during the winter months.

Sorry, NO heavily WAX cardboard (examples: some produce & ceramic tile boxes).  This kind is usually dark brown and you can see the heavy wax coating.  This does not break down in water.  You can compost this or burn for heat.

Magazines

These can go into the green Paper Gator located in front of the building 24x7.  Please remove from plastic sleeve.

Plastic #1 or #2 Bottles or Jugs triple rinsed (Farm pesticide jugs too, triple rinsed)

Look for the recycling triangle, usually on the bottom of the bottle or on the "neck" under the cap for shampoo bottles. PLEASE remove lids and rinse, must be free of food. We need them clean because we bale the materials ourselves.

#2 Cloudy Jugs.  Such as milk or water jugs.  6/5/16 Call out to Farmers! We accept pesticide jugs, no caps must be triple rinsed (put cloudy in own bag and color in their own bag) This plastic has the most value.

#2 Color Bottles/Jugs.  Laundry detergent, bleach, cleaner bottles, frozen orange juice, coffee containers.  6/5/16 Call out to Farmers! We accept pesticide jugs, no caps must be triple rinsed (put cloudy in own bag and color/white in their own bag).
